The fedora hat: its history
Fedora hat has always been considered a classic in the world of hats.
The origin of the name fedora comes from the hat worn by the actress Sarah Bernhardt when she played the heroine in the play called “Fedora” of Victorien Sardou’s.
Since then, the hat was worn by many actors such as Humphrey Bogart in the film “Casablanca”, Alain Delon and Jean-Paul Belmondo in the film “Borsalino”, by Harrison Fort in the “Indiana Jones” film series and finally by Michael Jackson in “Billie”.
The fedora hat has become an essential fashion accessory. This hat is now worn by both men and women in their everyday life.

Packaging
First, Maison carefully wraps the hats in tissue paper, and then places them in a black hat box designed by Fabienne Delvigne. These boxes are tailor made by Maison Fabienne Delvigne. Then, we place a certificate of authenticity next to the hat. Finally, we delicately perfume the hat with Guerlain’s “Eau de Cashmere”, a souvenir of the beautiful collaboration between our two Maisons.
