This elegant fedora hat with wide brim hat is made of parasisal and is trimmed with a grosgrain ribbon. Its sobriety will allow you to wear it on any occasion. This creation is available made to measure and in different colours.
Details of the fedora hat with wide brim
The parasisal hat is made of a straw that is almost non-existent, a noble material of quality. The parasisal gives it a slightly shiny sheen that reveals all the beauty of this straw.
The beautiful story of parasisal
Parasisal is a very fine and beautiful straw. Craftsmen with great skill patiently weave it by hand. However, this straw is no longer produced. This ancestral work has, in fact, disappeared.
La Maison of Fabienne Delvigne has always worked not only with eco-responsible materials but also with high quality. She still has a few specimens of this magnificent straw. She likes to share this exceptional material and work with her customers.
The fedora hat: its history
The fedora hat has always been considered a classic in the world of hats.
At the origin, the name fedora comes from the hat worn by the actress Sarah Bernhardt when she played the heroine of the play “Fedora” by Victorien Sardou.
Unavoidable, it is also worn by many actors like Humphrey Bogart in the film Casablanca, or Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones. It is also found in the film Borsalino by Alain Delon and Jean-Paul Belmondo.
Finally, the fedora hat is a timeless accessory: it is worn by both men and women in everyday life.

Tailor made service
Maison of Fabienne Delvigne likes to adapt to all the desires of its customers from all over the world. In order to offer them a very tailor-made and personalised service, requests and appointments can be made in our boudoir atelier located in Brussels, the capital of Europe, but also by Teams, Zoom and Whatsapp.
Maison of Fabienne Delvigne will be happy to make your dreams come true.
First of all, Fabienne Delvigne carefully wraps the hats in tissue paper. They are then placed in a black hat box signed Fabienne Delvigne. These boxes are made to measure for the Maison.
Then we place a certificate of authenticity next to the hat. Finally, we delicately perfume it with Eau de Cashmere by Guerlain. This reminds us of a beautiful collaboration between our two Maisons.
