The history of the parabuntal

Parabuntal is a rigid vegetable fibre from the Philippines. This fibre comes from a shrub from which the fibres are removed from the pith of the trunk with tweezers. The fibres are then woven together one by one. Indeed, it is a meticulous work of braiding which can take more than one year to make a capeline.
