The fedora hat: its history
The fedora hat has always been considered a classic in the world of hats.
The origin of the name fedora comes from the hat worn by the actress Sarah Bernhardt when she played the heroine of Victorien Sardou’s play Fedora.
Worn by many actors such as Humphrey Bogart in the film Casablanca, in the film Borsalino by Alain Delon and Jean-Paul Belmondo, by Harrison Fort in the Indiana Jones film series, by Michael Jackson in Billie.
The fedora hat has become an essential fashion accessory. This headgear is now worn by both men and women.

La Maison first carefully wraps the hats in tissue paper, and then places them in a black hat box designed by Fabienne Delvigne. These boxes are made to measure for the House.
Then we place a certificate of authenticity next to the hat. Finally, we delicately perfume the hat with Guerlain’s Eau de Cashmere, a souvenir of the beautiful collaboration between our two Maisons.
